WEST COAST PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA

FROM CARMEN TO PHANTOM

"Dramatic brass heralded O’Sullivan’s swansong, Don’t Rain on my Parade, from Styne’s Funny Girl, drawing in a recitative soliloquy; plaintively rhetorical in contrast to the fanfare."
                   - The Western Australia

Embark on a mesmerising musical journey as the West Coast Philharmonic Orchestra presents an evening of timeless classics from "Carmen" to "Phantom of the Opera”.

With captivating repertoire by Borodin, Puccini, Sondheim, and Strauss, immerse yourself in the vibrant, evocative sounds of opera and musical theatre.

Joining us will be operatic soprano Chelsea Burns (WA) and musical theatre vocalist Lainey O’Sullivan (Ireland), breathing new life into some of your favourite hits from the stage. Featuring works such as the poignant aria "O mio babbino caro" by Giacomo Puccini, the passionate "Meine lippen sie küßen so heiß" by Franz Lehár, and show-stopping hits like "Don't Rain On My Parade" from "Losing My Mind", there is sure to be something for everyone.
